Our Story

Kids Connection Daycare is a small family owned business in Alberta. We started with our first daycare center opening in High River in 2018.

We have since expanded to other locations in Alberta. We currently have childcare facilities operating in Medicine Hat.

We are very excited to be expanding and bringing much needed quality childcare to different locations here in Alberta!

At Kids Connection Daycare we know that it takes a village to raise a child. That is why at all of our locations we try to make it as seamless as possible for our parents, to be stress free.

We provide 2 snacks per day, drinks (water/milk), diapers, wipes, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. Some of our locations provide a hot lunch daily, cooked in house!

Our Philosophy

At Kids Connection Daycare, we believe that every child is unique and deserves individualized attention and care. We encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play, and we strive to foster a lifelong love of learning in every child.

Kids Connection Daycare uses the Flight Curriculum Framework along with the emergent program planning; while incorporating a child-based philosophy that is structured to provide quality childcare and is designed solely off the children’s interest.

Our philosophy is a learning through play-based philosophy that is solely based on the children's interest and is child directed; where the children are able to learn how to problem solve through education, choices, and the encouragement of the staff. We understand that children learn best through play and exploring the world around them, our staff encourage natural and open-ended learning experiences which are child directed.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate childcare for all children in our care, which focuses on the individual child’s age and stage of development and their unique personalities. By doing so we are able to stimulate all areas of development and help each individual child meet their developmental milestones to the best of the child’s ability. Staff will strive to provide the highest quality childcare and educational service that promotes and enhances each child’s development, while ensuring our Guardian/Parent peace of mind in the care and service that we provide. Kids Connection Daycare provides a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate program which fosters active learning, support for the whole child, and a child friendly environment.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of children from infancy (12 months+) through school age (12 years old). We also offer before and after-school care, and summer care at select locations.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. They undergo regular training to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and practices, and are dedicated to providing the best possible care and education for each child.
